Dark-based Gliding Hawkmoth (Ambulyx substrigilis) is a species of moth of the family of hawk moths (Sphingidae) also know as sphinx moths or hornworms. This is mainly a South Asia and South East Asian species spreading form India all the way up to Indonesia.
