Madagascar Black-Eye (Leptomyrina phidias) is a butterfly in the Lycaenidae family. It is found on Madagascar and Réunion. The habitat consists of rocky areas with rupicolous vegetation (growing on rocks) and anthropogenic environments.
I met this beauty in Andasibe Mantadia region. It was nice sunny morning with few showers here and there. After one such shower sun started shining and on the narrow rocky path, by side, I noticed this settling on fern for basking. It let me approach near and take a few pictures, but used to take off and settle near by again on fern.

Guibemantis is a frog genus in the mantellid subfamily Mantellinae. This genus is restricted to Madagascar. At present it contains 15 species divided into two subgenera. It was elevated to genus-level only in 2006
I met this small beautiful frog in Andasibe, Madagascar. This is yet to be identified to species level.

The Madagascan wagtail (Motacilla flaviventris) is a species of wagtail in the Motacillidae family. It is endemic to Madagascar and is found throughout the island.
The diet of the Madagascan wagtail mainly consists of small invertebrates, notably insects and spiders. It forages by walking or running on the ground, moving its tail up and down in typical wagtail fashion and suddenly jumping up a few meters into the air to capture prey. Movements are very similar to wagtails I have seen in India.
