Western Chinese Moon Moth (Actias parasinensis) is a moth in the family Saturniidae. Moths of the genus Actias are commonly referred as Moon Moths and there are 15 species seen in large part of the globe. This species is found in Bhutan, NE India, Thailand, Laos and Vietnam. I saw this in Miao, Arunachal Pradesh.
The larvae have been recorded feeding on Sweetgum (Liquidambar species).
