Fulvous Pied Flat (Pseudocoladenia dan) is distributed in Indomalyan realm. It is a Spread-Winged Skipper (Pyrginae subfamily of Hesperiidae family).
Originally described by Fabricius in 1787 as Papilio dan. Two subspecies are seen in India first Pseudocoladenia dan dan or Sahyadri Fulvous Pied Flat and Pseudocoladenia dan fabia or Himalayan Fulvous Pied Flat seen in NE India. Another species Pseudocoladenia faith or Western Himalayan Pied Flat was treated as a subspecies earlier.
